I am a mother of 2 adorable small children whose births profoundly affected me. From my experiences being pregnant, I found myself bombarded by a culture filled with fear and negativity surrounding birth. As I progressed, I found that there were more options out there than I had anticipated and that there could, indeed, be joy found in birthing. I chose to take that route and made choices to support that decision and ultimately had a birth experience that was beautiful, dignified and positive.
My motivation for becoming a childbirth professional was and is to help women to overcome their fears, to help them navigate through the many choices surrounding childbirth and to help create memories of strength and joy accompanying the birth of their child.
I find it an honor and privilage to support you as a doula and educator during this precious time. Please browse through my site and feel free to contact me with any questions.
